BUHLMANN AT A GLANCE

The BUHLMANN Group is a premium trading company for steel pipes, pipe fittings and accessories around the world. It stands out for its quality and global service. The more than 65,000-ton stock range is spread across twelve warehouses.

All steel pipes and fittings are available in standard and non-standard wall thicknesses as well as seamless or welded in all materials:

The BUHLMANN Group also provides various extras such as special fittings based on drawings or pipes made of round steel. Splitting, chamfering, reboring, turning and carrying out special work are also common extras which are available on request. This amounts to a storage area of 136,000 square metres in total.

Since its foundation in 1945, the company has been constantly changing. By now, more than 750 employees work in 15 countries. Embracing change means that the BUHLMANN Group not only relies on its own know-how, but also continues to develop consistently together with its subsidiaries. In addition to BUHLMANN Industrie Technik (BIT), these include the 2023 renamed DYLAN locations BUHLMANN Netherlands B.V., BUHLMANN Beheer B.V. (for now still DYLAN Beheer B.V.), BUHLMANN Belgium B.V. and BUHLMAN UK Ltd. RS-Matco and Lockwood Partners in the USA, NRG Special Products and Hellebeuk in the Netherlands as well as BARTHEL Boilertubes GmbH in Neuss also belong to the group.

This and much more is the service of the BUHLMANN Group, which stands out from the competition for its unique quality. This quality is guaranteed with continuous employee training. Alongside further training, BUHLMANN has trained apprentices in many different fields for more than 60 years. This way, the company’s core competencies are passed on from generation to generation.

What we do

In the context of pipeline, plant and power plant construction, the BUHLMANN Group is a full-service provider, a consulting company and a reliable partner for its clients. We provide you with comprehensive project management from planning and goods logistics to the coordination of technical support for all partners involved on the client’s and the manufacturer’s side.

The BUHLMANN Group is a full-service provider of high-quality boiler tubes from all materials used in power plant construction which have to withstand high pressure and temperatures. In chemical and plant engineering, resistance against corrosion by aggressive chemicals, higher temperatures or very high pressure is essential. In the oil and gas pipe range, BUHLMANN stocks essential welded and seamless steel pipes as well as the suitable fittings and flanges. These also have a high resistance against corrosion and can withstand high pressure.

The BUHLMANN Group has also observed the growing offshore market for some time and has adapted to the increasing demand from the industry. Since 2018, the industrial technology sector has also become a new customer with the subsidiary company BUHLMANN Industrie Technik. This focuses on C or stainless steel as well as boiler tubes for compressed air technology, food industry technology or refrigeration and air-conditioning technology.

Thanks to its worldwide presence in different markets, not only fast and direct contact to the client can be provided, but also personal consultation and tailor-made provision of innovative solutions. We can therefore achieve the result desired by our clients with an understanding for individual expectations.
