Official kick-off in Bremen's City Hall: On Wednesday, August 24th, President of the Senate and Mayor of Bremen, Andreas Bovenschulte, presented the foundation charter of the Solidarity Ukraine Foundation to Alina Armerding from HANSA FLEX AG and to Jan-Oliver Buhlmann. The aim of the foundation is to provide financial support for reconstruction in Ukraine.

In contrast to the acute aid provided by other fundraising campaigns, the Solidarity Ukraine Foundation is expressly geared to the country's future prospects. "The reconstruction of the social infrastructure, for example of care and nursing facilities, schools and hospitals, is very important to us as a family business," says Jan-Oliver Buhlmann. "It is the basis of social togetherness and creates the freedom to work on one's own future in free and democratic conditions."

The Solidarity Ukraine Foundation guarantees that donations flow in full into the reconstruction projects. "Hope for the future" is what it means, according to Mayor Andreas Bovenschulte. More information about the foundation can be found on the homepage www.stiftung-solidaritaet-ukraine.de.
