Bremen, April 1, 2022: Philipp Tengel, previously Director Financial Business Division, has been appointed as one of the Managing Directors of BUHLMANN Rohr-Fittings-Stahlhandel GmbH + Co. KG. With this strategically important step, the management of the BUHLMANN GROUP has been optimally complemented by an experienced and competent expert in the field of finance. Philipp Tengel completes the five-person management team with Jan-Oliver Buhlmann, Dr. Christian Baum, Wolfgang Huhn and Jörg Klüver.

Philipp Tengel is 37 years old and has been with BUHLMANN for nine years. He initially joined the company in 2013 as Strategic and Company Developing Manager and took over the function of Head of Reporting and Controlling with effect from June 2014. From 2015 to 2017, he played a key role in implementing the financial structures at DYLAN and, as Finance Director of DYLAN Beheer B.V., successfully adapted the finance department of our Dutch subsidiary to the BUHLMANN structures. Then, in 2017, Philipp Tengel was granted procuration in his new role as Finance Director. With his expertise as well as his wide-ranging specialist knowledge in relation to all company operations of the BUHLMANN GROUP, Philipp Tengel will strengthen the management in strategic decisions in the future. According to Tengel, the greatest challenge at present is "to strategically realign the BUHLMANN GROUP again and again in a dynamic environment".
