Students from Delmenhorst started a weather ballon
BUHLMANN provides boost
Stunning photos from a meteorological balloon were the result of a student science experiment at the Max-Planck high school in Delmenhorst, neighboring city of Bremen. After weeks of work in a MINT school academy workshop under the supervision of teacher Matthias Körperich, the balloon finally took flight at the beginning of July and the students delivered pictures of earth from the stratosphere.
With the boost from helium sponsored by BUHLMANN, the balloon reached unexpected heights and took the attached probe far beyond the targeted 36,000 meters to an elevation of 40,070 meters. BUHLMANN GROUP congratulates the student scientists and is happy to be part of their support.
