BUHLMANN receives “Certificate for Training 2023”

On March 20, BUHLMANN Rohr-Fittings-Stahlhandel GmbH + Co KG was awarded the "Certificate for the Promotion of Young Talent 2023" by the Bremen-Bremerhaven Employment Agency for its outstanding commitment to professionally training young people.

Joachim Ossmann, Chairman of the Management Board of the Bremen-Bremerhaven Employment Agency, commented: "I am very pleased to be able to award BUHLMANN Rohr-Fittings-Stahlhandel GmbH + Co. KG with the certificate for training in the city of Bremen this year, a company that has been committed to training young talent in an exemplary social manner for almost 70 years."

As an attractive training company, BUHLMANN makes a valuable contribution to combating the increasing shortage of skilled workers, Joachim Ossmann continued. In addition to attractive additional benefits during the apprenticeship, the company attaches great importance to social integration and individual support for trainees.

Ronald Speidel, Director Corporate Business Division, explained: "We are delighted to receive this award. At BUHLMANN, we often take new and innovative approaches to training. Trust and confidence play a decisive role in this. Our aim is to give trainees responsibility at an early stage and give them the opportunity to develop their individual strengths. The certificate confirms our commitment to excellent training opportunities."

CEO Jan-Oliver Buhlmann emphasized the importance of the joint commitment of all employees: "Only the joint commitment of all employees makes a performance possible that makes a company stand out from the multitude of companies. BUHLMANN promotes the professional development of young talent – not for traditional reasons, but out of conviction as a family business."

Lara Elfroth, Team Manager Human Resources and responsible trainer regarding apprenticeships at BUHLMANN, is delighted to have been recognized by the training certificate: "In an increasingly digital recruiting landscape, we are focusing on diversity in order to address young people where they are, be it on social media, at events or directly in schools. We do this through career orientation days and the BUHLMANN Recruiting Days, among other things. Every year, we evaluate our approach to ensure it continues to meet the needs of young people and give our apprentices responsibility early on so that they can fully develop their strengths."
